On May 15-17, Cyphre will participate in the ENTELEC Conference in Houston TX with RigNet in booth #400. We’re excited to go to Houston to continue demystifying the role of encryption for industry professionals in energy, telecommunications, and oil & gas.
Established in 1928, the ENTELEC user association focuses on communications and control technologies used by petroleum, natural gas, pipeline and electric utility companies. Its primary goal is to facilitate an educational platform for these industries using technical presentations, exhibits and networking opportunities during the annual ENTELEC Conference & Expo.
The overarching goal of the conference is to improve efficiencies, lower costs, and maximize productivity for member companies by networking and building relationships with a diverse group of professionals from the petroleum, pipeline, natural gas and electric utility sectors. ENTELEC facilitates the exchange of ideas through its technical education program, in-depth training, networking opportunities, and solutions-based exhibit hall.
For professional and social networking, ENTELEC sponsors events like its great annual golf tournament, the massive President’s Reception and Welcome Party offering food, drinks, and socializing, and plenty of exhibit hall activities throughout the duration of the conference.
In fact, the ENTELEC Exhibit Hall hosts the energy industries’ largest gathering of vendor companies (more than 125) with specific communications and control technology solutions. So much information in one place, at one time – it’s a great resource and showcase for the latest products and services available!
If you are planning to attend ENTELEC, we hope you’ll stop by Booth #400 to make new friends and develop a better understanding of the vital role Cyphre encryption technology is playing in the evolution of cybersecurity for these critical industries. Hot topics include cryptography and the increase in cyberattacks, how to combat advanced threats and exploitation techniques, as well as managing mobile security, the Internet of Things, and the advent of GDPR (the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation).
There’s lots to talk and learn about! We’re happy to provide a technical perspective on strategic planning, orchestration, security monitoring and vulnerability, security of networks, endpoints, operational technology and systems.
